台灣每4人，就有1人得癌症！！ 有個唸清華化學博士的朋友證實過這件事，有個簡單的方法可以分辨：大部分呈現透明狀的清潔用品大均是因為含有SLS 成份，不只洗髮精、沐浴乳、洗潔劑等等都有可能有這個成份，加了SLS後，會使它清澈漂亮，所以廠商基於消費者的心態只好添加了！檢查一下你用的洗髮精的 成份標示，看看是否有種叫Sodium Laureth Sulfate（或簡稱SLS）的物質。在大部分的洗髮精中都有這種物質，製造商用它來產生許多泡沫，而且也很便宜。但事實上，它是用來刷洗車庫或修車廠 的地板，作用非常強烈。它已被證明長期使用會致癌，這可不是說著玩的！
